Tenant has not paid a rent since 10 months, I have already issued a notice regarding payment of rent and eviction as agreement period is over just one month before. I already had made a mistake by issuing notice very late. Tenant is not paying rent and asking More Time. So I waited for a month further, but yet tenant failed to pay rent. Now what?

Hi, I am a chairman of my residential society and we are responsible for doing accounting since 5 years . One of my society member who is CA in professional has purchased one flat in the year 2018 (May) and she has given to tenant on rent. His tenant not informed his two wheeler parking charges to his owner and due to which penalty accrued for 8 month’s and now she is asking to waive off the charges.we denied for the same . To take revenge she is asking us to show all financial accounting details since inception. We said it will be shown in coming AGM . My question is whether she has rights to check financial accounting details since inception as she has purchased flat in 2018 and not in 2013 . ?? Pls guide on the same . thank you.
I am a 70 year old woman… We have been staying in pagdi system since 35 years… paid the then amount in cash to the landlady without any agreement or document. Have been paying monthly rent of around?500 and receiving a simple bill in return. Now the landlady is telling us that she is got a builder and will demolish present building(3 floors) and build a new taller building and if we want a house then we will have to pay more money. Now all of us tenants are poor and can?t afford, so she is telling us that she will give us a small amount(almost nothing) and kick us out. We told her we have rent bills, how can she do that?! we also have some right! She is saying once the building is demolished and razed to the ground… she will have all the right to do what she wants and then the tenants cannot do anything… so it?s better you take money and leave or pay hefty amount and stay!!! I?m staying in my daughters house now in fear of her. What should I do? Would you kindly assist!!!
I am staying in a rental flat since 1.5 years. Ceiling leakage problem is happening since then and I too informed landlord in time. He worked on it. But still the problem wasn’t resolved. Plaster is falling from ceiling all day since 20 days. Hence, I told him my decision about changing the house. But I mentioned the notice period of 15 days rather than 1 month. Because the problem is increasing day by day and my family is facing problems alot. Especially, my two years old puts it in the mouth. But landlord is not letting us leave before 1 month. But if I am having problems then I have a right to leave.
As well as have read some where -“A tenant has the right to a house that is fit to be lived in. Unsafe conditions, such as holes in the floor, plaster coming down from the ceiling, leakage, bad wiring, and the like are considered unfit. It is the landlord?s responsibility to see that the house meets the minimum standards of accommodation”. is this correct?
