Gratuity is paid as token for royalty by the employer when the employee completes 4 years 8 months and 18 days continuously without any break is eligible for Gratuity under the Act. So you should send them a legal notice claiming your rights. As gratuity is to be paid by the employer within 30days from the due date
employer denies for gratuity after Six years of work
Hi sir, my self Anil Kumar i was working in a travel company from last Six Years and One months ..company suddenly said want to one accountant in the compnay while my profile is credit controller one more account executive working therer. so i have resigned my job position. now company HR said we provide to you only one month salary not gratuity .sir guide me what should i do.
