Whether GST Registration is Compulsory for a Registered Society or not?

I have an Educational Society registered under Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act 1973 (Act No. 44 of 1973) since March 2014. So the Educational Society governs a girls Hostel and a Coaching Center in same state. The yearly turnover iof the society have never beein over Rs. 20 Lakh in any financial Year. So Is it still compulsory to register and pay for gst, also, if it is compulsory, do I need to pay separate GST for Girls Hostel and Coaching Center, respectively? Please Guide.
