Back in 2014, I was going through a rough patch financially and had asked my then ex boyfriend to help me out with money even though we had called off our relationship. I didn't have anyone to look upto. He had sent me something in the range of 20-25k per month for 6-7 months (?180000). There was no written contract or documents and I had said to him that I'll payback once I get a job and he agreed, orally. Now he's blackmailing me to either repay the amount or to get back with him. He's married. I have WhatsApp conversations with him where I've said that I can only repay in installments of 4-5k p.m. Please help me to jot out whether he can take legal action and what are my alternatives? But the problem is he agreed to it initially when I said I'll pay back after I get a job. I'm still a student.
