Any business whose turnover is more than Rs. 20 lakh has to register for payment of GST. The full form of GST is Goods and service tax.Also, there are some special businesses which are also required to register for GST. Every registered taxpayer who opts for GST is issued a GST Registration Certificate in Form GST REG-06. If you are a registered taxpayer you may also download and view GST certificate from the GST portal. The registration certificate is available in order to download only on the GST Portal. The government does not issue any physical certificate of GST registration .
GST who have already registered, 31st March 2018 is deadline to opt into Composition for FY 2018-19
For: For Any GS taxpayer already registered under GST who want to opt for the Composition scheme for FY 2018-19;
31st March 2018 is the last day to file the intimation in Form GST CMP-02 to opt into composition scheme for the FY 2018-19.
Also, furnish statement in form ITC-03 within 60 days of commencement of the financial year 2018-19 to declare the ITC claim that has to be reversed on inputs or capital goods in stock, in semi-finished state or in finished goods form.
How to download GST certificate
Step 1: Login on GST portal website by clicking on the login option on the upper right-hand side of the homepage.
Fill in the login credentials and then enter login. And suppose you are a first time user click on the option given on the bottom.
Fill in the provisional ID and password that is received in the Email for registration
After you login the GST portal, option to reset the username and password is provided. Reset the same and submit it.
Step 2: Then Go to User Services
Your dashboard will open on your screen once you log in. Next you Click on Services and open User Services
Step 3: Download the Certificate
Once the user services list opens, you must click on ‘View/Download Certificates’. Then Click on Download button
GST REG-06: Once you have downloaded the certificate you may check that it is issued in the Form GST REG-06. Where all business details are mentioned. There are two annexure in this form namely annexure A and B. Annexure A contains details of Place of Business. And Annexure B contains details of people in charge
