What to Khewat Number Where to find my Khewat?
Khewat number or Khata number is a normal account number assigned to owners(s) by the revenue officials in your Jamabandi records. This number can also for a set of co-owners with different proportions of owned land.This number is in the sequence of 1 to N, it might be changed in the next Jamabandi due to some rearrangements.
What is Khasra number?
Khasra number is nothing but a plot number given to a part of the land in the village. This number changes when the land is divided, mutated or sold in parts or as a whole. The new number assigned will have denominators. For example if Khasra number 500 is divided into three parts during mutation Khasra number 500/1, 500/2 and 500/3 will be created.

What is Nakal and how to apply it?
Nakal is nothing but a record for your ownership provided by concerned Tehsil/SubTehsil Office. To apply you have to submit an application in HALRIS Centre at the concerned Tehsil. A computer-generated Jamabandi Nakal/ROR with conered Khewat will be printed. This will further be verified by the Patwari-land officer in the HALRIS Centre and attest the Nakal and take down the Nakal in the Nakal Register.A fee of Rs.30 should be paid to the Patwari upon which you will receive a receipt and your Jamabandi Nakal. Now if you want to verify this Nakal or if you want to take a copy you can get it from the Jamabandi web-portal by accessing the Haryana Land Records. Jamabandi Haryana can be a very useful platform for ease of the landowners.

Step I: Go to Jamabandi Haryana web portal – http://www.jamabandi.nic.in
Step II: On the top of the window, Select Jamabadi Nakal – you will see a drop-down as you run your cursor over it.
Step III: Click Verify Nakal Issued from HALRIS.
Step IV: Type the 15 digit Nakal Unique ID in the box and click ‘Verify’.
To View your Jamabandi Nakal,
Step I: Go to Jamabandi Haryana web portal – http://www.jamabandi.nic.in
Step II: On the top of the window, Select Jamabadi Nakal – you will see a drop-down with three options
- ‘By Owner’
- By’ Khewat no’

Step IV: Type the details of your Tehsil, village, Mutation number, Source type, Mutation type, and Mutation date.
Step V: Enter the captcha number as shown and click ‘Submit’.
To view Registered Deeds,
Step I: Go to Jamabandi Haryana web portal – http://www.jamabandi.nic.in
Step II: On the top of the window, select ‘Property registration’ – you will see a drop-down as you run your cursor over it.
Step III: Select ‘View registered deeds’.
Step IV: Type Tehsil, Registry number, Registry Date, Deed Name.
Step V: Enter the captcha in the given box and click on ‘Search’.
Finally to view Revenue Court Cases,
