What to Khewat Number Where to find my Khewat?

Khewat number or Khata number is a normal account number assigned to owners(s) by the revenue officials in your Jamabandi records. This number can also for a set of co-owners with different proportions of owned land. This number is in the sequence of 1 to N, it might be changed in the next Jamabandi due to some rearrangements.

What is Khasra number?

Khasra number is nothing but a plot number given to a part of the land in the village. This number changes when the land is divided, mutated or sold in parts or as a whole. The new number assigned will have denominators. For example if Khasra number 500 is divided into three parts during mutation Khasra number 500/1, 500/2 and 500/3 will be created.
