National scholarship platform
National Scholarship Portal (NSP) :- is a single digital scholarship platform which carries multiple scholarships offered by central government, state governments and different government agencies like UGC (University Grants Commission), AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), etc.i
It is one-stop solution through which various services starting from student application, application receipt, processing, sanction and disbursal of various scholarships to Students will enable.
National Scholarships Portal is taken as Mission Mode Project under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
Currently, the NSP has 9 participating ministry/departments and 21 registered schemes.
This initiative aims at rendering a best and transparent services for a quick & effective disposal of Scholarships applications.

Mission
The Mission Mode Project (MMP) of National Scholarships Portal under the National e-Governance Plan aims at providing a common electronic portal for implementing various Scholarships schemes launched by Union Government, State Government and Union Territories across the country.

- Create a transparent database of scholars
- Avoid duplication in processing
- Harmonization of different Scholarships schemes & norms

How to register ?
For registering in NSP follow the steps given below:-

Register as a student by clicking on the button new registration.
Then read the instruction manual.
And press continue.
Fill all the application form with Name ,father’s name BANK IFSC CODE and bank ac number etc.
Temporary id:- Post saving the details filled in, the student would receive a “Temporary ID”. is received,
the student applying the scholarship would be prompted to submit his or her Temporary ID and date of birth to fill in subsequent details.
The entry of details is complete.
Submission of the form :-Once entry of necessary information is complete, registration is complete by clicking the submit button.
Permanent id:- Once the registration is submitted, the student receives a Permanent Registration ID, which is usually used for tracking the status and renewing the registration.
Once the student receives the Permanent Registration ID, he/she would not be able to modify the details until the Scholarship application processing is complete.
Renewal of student registration
In order to process a renewal, the student must apply with his or her bank account no and date of birth which was registered the previous year.
Students could also use the option “forgot registration id” to retrieve their original ID.
