This is an online portal for food security or Ration card. In Telangana state.The Ration card enables and helps poor people to get the services of several facilities offered by Telengana government .Since the card provides food security ,citizens individuals who are low income earners can get sponsored food from the state government with the help of the card. Categories in Telengana Ration Card
In accordance to the Public Distribution System(PDS) of Telengana state, the card is divided into three categories as mentioned below;
Above Poverty Line (APL)
Those who fall under this category can earn more than Rs 10,000 annually and are given White Ration card.
BPL (Below Poverty Line)
Under this category individuals who earn less that Rs 10,000 annually are provided with Pink Ration Card.
Antodaya or AYY families
This are extremely needy families and are provided with pink Ration card.
Difference between Ration card and Food Security Card
Ration Card
APL families are not recognized in the PDS scheme of Telengana state thus they cannot received subsided food grains through the government but can apply for the APL ration card
Food Security Card
BPL and AYY are all covered under the PDS scheme of Telengana thus the government has to provide aid food grains to them. This category are given the Food security Ration Card.
How to obtain Ration Card in Telengana
The documents required for application are:
- Mee Sava application Form
- ID card copy or Voters card, Drivers license Aadharu card
- Passport Sized photo graph.

To obtain and apply for the card offline follow the below procedures;
- Visit the nearest Mee Seva center in your location
- Ask for the ration card application form from the officials in the office
- Fill appropriate details in the form
- Attach required documents before submission
- Fix passport sized photo to the form
- Confirm the details filled
- Submit the form with the prescribed fee
How to apply Ration Card Online
1: Visit Mee Seva Civil supplies department homepage in order to apply.
2: On your top left hand side of the screen select Mee Seva service forms under the quick link.
3: Drag your mouse to Civil Supplies ,click on issue of new Ration Card (pink) application form.

4: You to select the card type you need
5: Fill in the details needed such as head of family,Professional details,gas connection details and other details such as number of old ration card.

Ways of Checking Ration Card Status
To check the card status follow the listed steps below:
1: Visit the EPDS ts portal introduced for the purpose
2 : After logging in to the website, search for ration card. Then click on the option FSC search
3: Click on FSC application search
4: Select district from Drop down menu
5: Enter your application number
6: Once the application number has been entered click search button to check for status

How to download Ts Ration Card
1: Visit https//epds.telangana.gov.in website
2: On your right hand side menu click on FSC search
3: Select FSC search on the next page
4: Select district on this page
5: Enter FSR. Reference number or ration card number or the old ration card number to search for your card.
If your name exists in the listing, then you can download the ration card from the portal.
