Introduction of Aadhar
Indian Central Government had launched an advance Identification process which consist of geometric identity. In this identity system, 12 digit Unique Identity Number is appointed for all residents of India. This 12 digit Unique Identity Number is also known as ADHAR Number. As the name explains ADHAR is base for everything. The central government has appointed The Unique Identification Authority of India to create Adhar Number, it is also known as UIDAI.
Vision of Aadhar
Adhar has developed to distribute financial subsidies and other benefits to residents.
Aadhar Modification-
Adhar can be modified within two ways, which is as follows-
Aadhar
- Self-service Mode Online & offline by resident – Online Update
- Assisted mode by Enrollment center- ECMP Update & Update Client Lite
Self-service Mode-
- Login into the SSUP Portal with your Adhar number and OTP received on registered mobile.
- Select the field whom you wants an update.
- Fill data in the selected field.
- Attach scan copy of original documents.
- Select BPO for a review update.
- Submit the form and collect URN.
- With this URN, can track the status of the update.

Assisted mode by enrollment center-
In this correction system consumer can update their Adhar card from enrollment center. The consumer can’t update IRS and fingerprint impression from the self-service mode, so the consumer must approach enrollment center. Enrollment centers are assigning by the registrar. UIDAI issues access for enrollment center to work on ADHAR portal. Enrollment center can make a correction in two ways which are as follows-
1) ECMP Update- this is enrollment client multi-platform. IRIS and 10 fingerprints can only update here.
2) UCL- this is update client lite system. Here everything can update instead of IRIS & 10 Fingerprint.
Self-online Correction-
With self-service mode consumer can make a correction in such ways…
1) Address correction-
Any consumer can make a correction in the address with online mode, to update their address they should follow such instructions…
- Candidate must have their Adhar Number and registered mobile number because Adhar sends OTP on registered mobile number. Without OTP candidate can’t open their portal.
- Now candidate types https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup-home: on URL address.
- A login window will open which.
- Insert Adhar Number and request for OTP.
- Now you will get OTP on registered mobile number.
- Enter received OTP and submit.
- Now you will get two options 1) have address proof 2) have address validation latter.
- Select a suitable option and submit.
- Now fill complete address with a proper landmark, district, pin code, state etc. and submit.
- Now document attaching window will open, here upload address proof documents.
- Select BPO service provider and submit.
- Collect your CRN for future tracking.
2) Name correction-
At current SSUP mode, name correction facility is not available. To modify Adhar name candidate must visit enrollment agency.
- Fill Adhar name correction form.
- Candidate must fill corrected details instead of existing adhar details.
- Candidate must get self-attested proofs to process update request.
- Submit the form with all documents.
- Candidate must pay a fixed charge for every correction.
- Enrollment center will provide correction request receipt.
3) Date of Birth Correction-
At current SSUP mode, name correction facility is not available. To modify Adhar name candidate must visit enrollment agency.
- Fill Adhar name correction form.
- Candidate must fill corrected details instead of existing adhar details.
- Candidate must get self-attested proofs to process update request.
- Submit the form with all documents.
- Candidate must pay a fixed charge for every correction.
- Enrollment center will provide correction request receipt.
4) Mobile Number Correction-
At current SSUP mode, name correction facility is not available. To modify Adhar name candidate must visit enrollment agency.
- Fill Adhar name correction form.
- Candidate must fill corrected details instead of existing adhar details.
- Candidate must get self-attested proofs to process update request.
- Submit the form with all documents.
- Candidate must pay a fixed charge for every correction.

5) Email Id correction-

Udyog Adhar
Udyog Adhar is government registration that is provided along with a recognition certificate and a unique number in order to certify small/medium businesses or enterprises. It is 12 digits unique identification number issued for medium scale industries. Its aim is to serve subsidy and other benefits for deserving industries. Every type of business entity can obtain Udyog Aadhar, it could be Hindu Undivided Family, Proprietorship, one-person company, Partnership Firm, Production Company, limited company, private limited company, limited liability partnership, co-operative societies or any association of persons or any other undertaking.
The process for Udyog Aadhar Registration in India
1) Visit the Government Website or Consult with Company Vakil Experts.
2) Here you need to insert your 12 digit Adhar Number and Name then validate for OTP.
3) Now select your industry type.
4) Fill complete correspondence details.
5) Now select your firm registration data on the calendar.
6) Now fill bank account number, IFSC code etc.
7) Now classify your industry type i.e. manufacturing, services etc.
8) Now fill actual investment amount during incorporation.
9) Now select district where industry exists.
10) Now submit an application with accepting the declaration and collect acknowledgement number for future inquiries.
Required documents
- Name and Aadhar number of the business owner (as mentioned in the Aadhar card)
- Document required as proof for SC, ST and OBC social category
- Name of your organization or enterprise
- Previous registration details of your enterprise
- Type of organization that you own
- Current address and account details
- NIC Code or National Industrial Classification Code
- The total number of workers employed in your organization
- Current activities of your firm
- Email ID and mobile number of the entrepreneur
- PAN number and the total investment made in the organization by the entrepreneur
