H2:Qualification law for the Aged:
- Minimum age for getting Aasra Pension is 65 or more.
- Elementary and defenseless Tribal bunch
- One pension per family. Preference will be to a women.
- Laborers having no land, artists belonging to rural areas, people living in slum areas, people earning money for their bread and butter daily like coolies, drivers, maids, rickshaw drivers, bus drivers, snake charmers, rag pickers, devoid and the impoverished. Also, the people working under similar conditions regardless of their Urban or rural identity.
- The people who are deprived of their home and are living in temporary built constructions, most importantly those who belong to urban areas.
- The houses that are run by patriarchs/widows or the people who are sick or the people who are handicapped or the people of age above 65 or more with also having no ways of getting support or welfare.
H2:Qualification law for the widows/patriarchs:
- The age of the widow should be 18 or above in order to get qualified for Aasra Pension.
- Elementary and defenseless Tribal bunch
- The houses that are run by women having no one suitable in the house to earn.
- The patriarch would receive pension only.
- Laborers having no land, artists belonging to rural areas, people living in slum areas, people earning money for their bread and butter daily like coolies, drivers, maids, rickshaw drivers, bus drivers, snake charmers, rag pickers, devoid and the impoverished. Also, the people working under similar conditions regardless of their Urban or rural identity.
- The people who are deprived of their home and are living in temporary built constructions, most importantly those who belong to urban areas.

H2:Qualification law for Weavers
- The age of a weaver should be 50 or above in order to get qualified for the Aasra pension.
- Elementary and defenseless Tribal bunch
- A single person from the entire family.
- He/she should be a weaver regardless of his/her rural/urban identity.
- The weavers who are deprived of their home and are living in temporary built constructions, most importantly those who belong to urban areas.
- The houses that are run by patriarchs/widows or the people who are sick or the people who are handicapped or the people of age above 65 or more with also having no ways of getting support or welfare.
H2:Qualification law for Toddy Tappers:
- Toddy Tappers who are 50 or above are qualified for Aasra pension.
- Elementary and defenseless Tribal bunch
- Single person from the entire family
- He/she should be a toddy tapper regardless of his/her rural/urban identity.
- The toddy tappers who are deprived of their home and are living in temporary built constructions, most importantly those who belong to urban areas.
- The houses that are run by patriarchs/widows or the people who are sick or the people who are handicapped or the people of age above 65 or more with also having no ways of getting support or welfare.
- The toddy tappers will only be qualified if they are a registered member of the Co-operative society of the toddy tappers.
H2:Qualification law for the handicapped:
- There is no age limit for the handicapped in order to be qualified for Aasra pension.
- Elementary and defenseless Tribal bunch
- The homes that are run by women and no other suitable person available to earn.
- If the person has damaged hearing, then the minimum damage should be 51%.
- Laborers having no land, artists belonging to rural areas, people living in slum areas, people earning money for their bread and butter daily like coolies, drivers, maids, rickshaw drivers, bus drivers, snake charmers, rag pickers, devoid and the impoverished.
- The people who are deprived of their home and are living in temporary built constructions, most importantly those who belong to urban areas.
- The houses that are run by patriarchs/widows or the people who are sick or the people who are handicapped or the people of age above 65 or more with also having no ways of getting support or welfare.
H2:The paper work needed in order to apply for Aasra pension:
The documentation required for the applicants are given below:
- A photo of the person applying.
- Aadhaar verification (If the aadhaar number is not available then obtain it in the coming 3 months)
- The account number of the savings account with IFSC Code that should be obtained from the bank or local post office.
- Age Proof should be given. If such proof is not available then provide the children’s age proof or marriage certificate of any grandchildren etc.
- Photographed Death certificate of the husband for a widowed applicant (If the death certificate is not present then the Panchayat Secretary should be able to enforce an enquiry and display its results).The death certificate should be obtained from the authority in the coming 3 months and uploaded on the online portal, whatever the case maybe.
- The registration proof in the form of a Xerox copy should be submitted by the toddy tappers showing that they are the participants of the co-operative society of the toddy tappers.

- SADAREM Certificate should be submitted to prove disabilities of 40%. 51% are accepted in the case of hearing damages.
H2:How to apply for Aasara Pension
Step 1: Log into the online website of Municipal Corporation and download the Aasra pension form from here. MeeSeva Center is an alternate way of getting the form.

Step 2: Now complete the form according to its requirements and add all the related documents that are demanded.
Step 3: The application forms are collected by Gram Panchayat Secretary / Village Revenue Officer that is available in the rural area and Bill Collector that could be found in the urban area.
Step 4: The processing takes place first through the online portal by the Municipal Commissioner, followed by the District Collector. The Aasra pension cards are dispersed according to the category. It contains a photograph of the beneficiary.
To find out the Aasra pension information:
Step 1: Log into the Aasra pension page that is available online.
Step 2: Hover over the quick search menu and select “Search Pensioner details”.
Step 3: You will be directed to another page where the pension ID needs to be entered. After entering it, press the Search button.
Step4: An alternate way is also there in case you doesn’t have your Pension ID.
Step 5: In order to use the alternate way, select your respective District, Mandal, Panchayat from drop down list.
Step 6: Now put your name and the Head of the family. Click search
